Day 4: January 9, 2025

Speaking Up and Standing Firm

Devotional:

Boldness in faith isn't about being loud or confrontational, but about being unashamed and courageous in representing Christ. Like Peter, we are called to speak up, not out of arrogance, but out of genuine conviction and love.

In a world of compromise and silence, speaking truth requires supernatural courage. This doesn't mean being aggressive, but being authentically committed to representing Christ's love and message. Our words carry power when they are seasoned with grace, wisdom, and genuine care.

Reflect on the areas where you've remained silent when you could have spoken life, hope, or truth. Boldness is a muscle that grows with intentional exercise.

Scripture:

Acts 4:29 - "And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness."

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, give me the courage to speak when you prompt me. Remove fear, replace it with love and sound mind. Help me to represent you with both gentleness and strength.

Call to Action:

Practice speaking life this week. This could mean offering an encouraging word to someone, sharing your faith story, or standing up for someone who needs support. Write down one specific opportunity where you'll choose boldness over silence.
